Stop the crash: Demonstration of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and motorcycle ABS 

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) systems automatically apply the brakes to avoid or mitigate a crash if the driver does not react in time and motorcycle anti-lock braking systems (ABS) help prevent wheel lockup, increase motorcycle stability and decrease stopping distance. In this demo event, expert drivers with their passengers will demonstrate how AEB can protect pedestrians and how motorcycle ABS can help avoid crashes. Both technologies are recommended for priority implementation in the UN Global Plan for the new Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-30 and there is an urgent need to accelerate their uptake globally to save lives and prevent serious injuries.
