Founded in September 2008 as a registered association, Netzwerk Logistik Mitteldeutschland e.V. started as the initiative of various regional logistic actors.

This network is synergising the performance of about 130 network logistic providers, suppliers and shippers of all sizes and branches: public administrations, chambers and organisations as well as research and educational institutions in order to improve the business activities and efficiency of the logistics region of Leipzig-Halle.
