The session will cover challenges, best practices, and lessons learned in promoting inclusive and sustainable transport systems in emerging economies, by leveraging the opportunities brought by the digital revolution. Specifically, the panel discussion will cover the benefits of digital transformation to improve urban mobility, air transportation and logistics in emerging economies. High-level representatives from leading countries, cities and organizations will present their experiences, share their views on further actions needed and make a call for action to the audience. The session will convey different points of view on the topic: public sector (Ministry of Transportation), private sector (WEF, ACI, UITP) and technology company (Microsoft). It will also provide perspectives on different transportation modes and different development geographies.
